Offshore Pipe

As the energy transition drives forward, offshore wind parks are beginning to be set up in many regions, to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. Taiwan has built a large number of offshore wind turbines in the west for the past decades, becoming the seventh largest offshore wind energy country in the world. The power generated needs to be transported back to the land through cables, thus these submarine cables require high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe to ensure their safety and durability.

As of end 2023, Sun Rise is the only submarine pipe supplier in Taiwan designated by major international wind turbine manufacturers. With many years of experience in offshore engineering and its leading position as the largest HDPE pipe factory in Taiwan, Sun Rise not only provides submarine HDPE pipes, but also supplies a number of offshore projects, including ocean discharge pipelines, seawater desalination and ocean water extraction, etc.
